Web browser
The simplest way to get started with DisplayFlow. If your screen has a built-in web browser — and most smart TVs, Android TV boxes and ChromeOS devices do — you don't need to install anything at all. Open a web page, enter a code, done.
Works on
- Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)
- LG Smart TV (webOS)
- Android TV
- Google TV
- Amazon Fire TV (Silk browser)
- Apple TV (Safari via AirPlay)
- ChromeOS
- Old tablets
- Chromebox
- Intel NUC with a web browser
If your device can open a web page, DisplayFlow works. The only limitation is that very old browsers (say, from 2015 or earlier) may lack modern video playback.
Three simple steps
-
Open the web browser on your screen.
Pick up the remote and open the web browser on your smart TV, Android TV or Chromecast with Google TV. On Samsung it is called "Internet", on LG "Web Browser", on Android TV "Chrome" or "Browser".
-
Go to https://displayflow.app/play
Type https://displayflow.app/play into the browser. You will see a simple page with a large input field for a code. No sign-in, no pop-ups.
Tip: if your remote is awkward to type with, you can use the Samsung SmartThings app, LG ThinQ or the Android TV Remote app on your phone to enter the code faster.
-
Enter your pairing code
Go to your DisplayFlow dashboard on a computer or phone. Click "Add screen". You get a 6-digit code which you enter on the TV. The screen is up and running within seconds.
