Get DisplayFlow Play on Google Play

What you need

  • An Android TV or Google TV device with Google Play and an internet connection.
  • A Google account to install the app and a DisplayFlow account to pair the screen.
  • A computer or phone for the DisplayFlow dashboard.

Device compatibility

Check Google Play on your actual device for compatibility and installation availability. A TV running Android without Google Play is not automatically compatible with this installation method.

Installation and pairing

  1. 01

    Install DisplayFlow Play

Open Google Play on the TV and search for DisplayFlow Play, or use the link above to select your compatible TV. Choose Install.

  2. 02

    Open the app

Launch DisplayFlow Play and leave its pairing screen open. The TV shows a six-digit pairing code.

  3. 03

Pair the screen in the dashboard

Sign in at https://displayflow.app on your computer or phone. Open Screens, choose Add screen, enter the code shown on the TV and name the screen. Confirm the pairing.

  4. 04

    Assign content and verify playback

Assign a playlist and an active schedule to the screen. Confirm that the expected content plays on the TV before leaving it unattended.

Prepare for continuous playback

Use a stable power supply and internet connection. Review the device’s sleep, screen saver and power settings. Keep the app updated through Google Play and test playback after a power cycle. Behaviour varies by device and operating system.
